Inspections Types:

• Principal Inspection - an extensive examination that involves close assessment (within touching distance) of all accessible elements associated to the structure.

• General Inspection – a visual inspection of structural elements with basic recording of existing conditions and any new defects.

• Superficial Inspection – this involves a brief check of the structure to note any obvious changes to the existing conditions.

• Special Inspection - this inspection may be required consequently to the following:

1. Investigate further a new or existing structural defect.
2. Changes to the structure in respect to loading and/or impact/fire damages.
3. Abnormal load impacts that have exceeded the structure loading capacity.
